Position Title:

 

Maintenance Lead

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

 

Maintenance Lead performs general maintenance and repairs of HVAC, Liquid Fillers, Boilers, Air Compressors, Electrical, Plumbing, Warehouse, and other building systems and maintains all the maintenance records. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Responsible for coordinating the facility maintenance program to ensure all maintenance is completed as scheduled.

• Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.

• Works with plant management team to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies and assess skills and time needed to complete tasks.

• Assist with capital project work as assigned.

• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System to accurately track work orders from inception to closure.

• Completes necessary research for non-standard maintenance & repairs requiring the purchase of materials and/or employment by outside contractors or vendors. • Manages contractors on site and serves as site contact.

• Complete all required maintenance paperwork.

• Performs manual warehouse duties as assigned.

• Completes various welding, piping, and fabrication projects, as assigned.

• Completes general Tank Farm maintenance including pump and hose inspections

• Provides guidance and assistance to less senior maintenance workers

• Serve on company’s in-plant or off-site emergency response team

• Comply with all company policies, rules, and guidelines 

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED: 

 

High School Diploma or GED with additional schooling or equivalent maintenance experience.

Should have 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance of production equipment

Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

Ability to read, write, count and understand and speak English

 

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

Safe operation of power tools

Use of spread sheets and office tools for developing PM workbooks and documentation of LOTO and PM specific tasks.

Knowledge of electrical theory and the safe interfacing with electrical systems

Understand all mechanical aspects of bulk pumping and blending systems.

Should be familiar with the office paper flow, operations of each department, particular products and their handling problems, and knowledge of all departments within the branch.

Must be able to work with and motivate others.

Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations
