(Plus shift premium if applicable)** Support the Maintenance Supervisor by facilitating maintenance personnel plant-wide as needed. Individual will communicate with Maintenance and Production supervisors on the status of down equipment and will be required to direct maintenance labor based on equipment priorities. Must be self-motivated and safety minded. Individual must be able to perform maintenance tasks as well as assign work priorities to other associates. Responsibilities: + Assign maintenance personnel as needed to perform required maintenance tasks. + Monitor progress of repairs and communicate timelines to appropriate supervisors. + Drive adherence to timely maintenance repairs and completion of assigned work orders. + Follow up to ensure necessary parts are ordered and communicate status of parts. + Ensure accurate documentation is filled out as required by the maintenance associates. + Monitor to ensure 5S duties are performed, both assigned areas and after repairs. + Ensure all associates work in a safe manner and recognize and correct safety issues. + Work with Micromain on WO generation, research, and closures. + Provide end of shift turnover communication – will require ½ hr. OT each shift to communicate. + Schedule overtime of maintenance personnel to meet business needs. + Is an active part of the maintenance team, completing assigned repairs efficiently and accurately. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent. + Must be a member of the maintenance staff. + Must possess Problem-solving/Root Cause analysis abilities. + Must possess Presentation/Public Speaking Skills. + Multitasking/Organizational Skills. + Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly. + Computer Skills required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Micromain). + High degree of integrity and ability to work with minimum supervision. + Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and / or situations. + Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the facility. + Must be able to lift to 50 pounds. Climate: + Candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with constant interruptions. + Candidate must clearly communicate business goals, so associates understand how they contribute to the organization’s success. Position requires extensive short-term planning on established and changing priorities. This position requires working on a 12-hour schedule and will require hands on working environment. Overtime may be required depending on workload, vacations and or sick coverage.
