Maintenance & Improvement Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical & Improvement Engineer to ensure that the factory has an effective and optimized Maintenance Management in place and it is executed in time and form to achieve performance targets while ensuring always product safety and quality (including preventive, corrective & predictive maintenance). **A day in the life of...** + Ensure high-performance operations by delivering asset maintenance aligned with Nestlé’s strategy, applying TPM and AMM to optimize equipment performance and lifecycle. + Critically assess and improve aseptic supplier maintenance systems (e.g., Tetra Pak) while supporting effective preventive, corrective maintenance and technical store management. + Develop and manage a zero-based maintenance budget aligned with Nestlé guidelines, ensuring proper justification, implementation, tracking, and reporting and continuously drive maintenance cost optimization. + Ensure all factory utilities meet production demands reliably and safely, especially those that come into contact with products. + Maintain compliance with food safety standards for all relevant processes and utilities. + Lead and coordinate the implementation of new technologies and in collaboration with other teams. + Drive continuous improvement and innovation in process and packaging efficiency through I&R initiatives. + Build and maintain strong technical and leadership capabilities across all organizational levels, from technicians to management. + Lead training, coaching, and development plans to support career growth and ensure team readiness for current and future business needs. + Optimize energy and water consumption across factory operations through effective maintenance and sustainability initiatives. + Ensure full compliance with SHE policies while driving continuous improvement. + Foster strong partnerships with key aseptic suppliers and collaborate on operational improvements. **What Will Make You Successful** + 5 years experience in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry (as Engineer Supervisor, Industrial Services, M&I or E&A/MES Engineer, or other similar positions) + 5 years hands on experience in Bottling Technology major supplier or in factories using aseptic technologies similar to those available in the market. + Hands on experience with Tetra Pak (Speed, Flex, Compact Flex platforms) or SIG, PET filling technologies and Distribution Equipment used in Bottling Technology We are Nestlé, the largest food and beverage company.
