Functions:
To perform all work duties safely, as well as maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.
Receive training as required
Perform other duties/positions as required/assigned.
Tasks:
Team Member is responsible for proficiency in multiple skill clusters including electricity and electronics, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.
Perform high-level machine and systems troubleshooting and repair, assist engineering and plant staff with the specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems, and provide technical support for all phases of the operation.
Skill in the theory and application of electronic devices, such as industrial semiconductors, in applications including solid-state drives and industrial control systems.
Perform Daily Lead duties to include but not limited to radio dispatch call for emergency repairs needed for production, send out daily shift notes to staff, enter notifications when needed.
Complete PM Evals, PM Reviews and Risk Assessments when assigned.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The Team Member will be regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme cold.
The Team Member will work in an environment which is usually loud.
Requirements:
Must have at least 12 months continuous work history with the same employer in the last 18 months.
3 years of related experience in Industrial Maintenance is required.
Recent graduates or students currently in school within the last 6 months must add this information under the education notes section.
Associate (A.S) degree in Electronic Technology (or closely related technical field) preferred.
Must either be proficient or become proficient in SAP Maintenance.
Computer skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
High level oral communications, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Three years of skill in the theory and application of electronic devices, such as industrial semiconductors, in applications including solid-state drives and industrial control systems.
Three years of microcomputer skills necessary to understand the operation and interfacing characteristics of microprocessors.
Possess three years of electrical schematic reading and understanding.
Three years experience with control and data-collection instrumentation and transducers.
Three years of experience with power tools such as threader benders, drills, impact etc.
Three years of experience using electrical multi meter, amp meters, volt meters and the use of multi meter mega.
Three years experience of electrical and basic electronic skills.
Possess knowledge and 3 years of industry practices and terminology.
Three years experience of hydraulics and pneumatics trouble shooting and repair.
Applicants will be considered for General Maintenance Lead level openings.
Leveling (pay) is determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
