Maintenance Generalist 2nd Shift Pine Bluff Blend Mill

Job Details:

Position Summary: The Maintenance Generalist (MG02) is an entry-level maintenance role responsible for performing preventative maintenance, assisting in the maintenance and repair of equipment, and ensuring the upkeep of company assets. The role requires adherence to Tyson Foods' safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and disassemble equipment.

• Operate and maintain mobile equipment.

• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.

• Engage in physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly.

• Work in varying conditions, including hot and cold environments.

• Work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Follow instructions and communicate effectively.

• Work safely at heights.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• External Requirements:

• Up to six months of work experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance position; experience in agriculture milling maintenance is preferred.

• Valid driver's license.

Ability to work at heights.

• Obtain and retain a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification (three-year certification).
