Maintenance General Supervisor

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Lead and develop strategies to Influence the short & long-term operational performances of the Maintenance department.
 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ experience on Maintenance at the manufacturing and/or automotive industry.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

60% English oral and written.Project management experience and skills.Strong leadership and accountability.High skills with Microsoft Office (effective presentation to different levels).Budget preparation and administration of resources.Knowledge Lean manufacturing. Experience with CMMS.Knowledge of standards and experience with Risk management.Business continuity plan. Change management. Emergency preparedness.Technical experience on metal mechanics processes and equipment automation.Effective communication, ability in a multi-cultural and multi-generational environment.Hands on Leader with strong focus on teamwork and customer service.Lead in a flexible environment.Teamwork and delegate effectively.Manage challenging situations.Effective talent management.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Supervision of all maintenance functions.Improve the performance of corrective & preventive maintenance programs.Tracking of the maintenance cost and financial budget forecasting and management.Develop energy reduction strategies (Electricity, Natural Gas & water).Ensure that safety procedures comply with NOM STPS such as EEP, LOTO, work at height, confined spaces, electrical work are followed and standards are improved.Develop KPIs to improve equipment reliability (Uptime, MTTR, MTBF, OEE).Use of Problem-Solving Techniques to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.Take the leadership role to solve problems related to machines.Predictive Maintenance techniques for critical equipment (oil analysis, vibration, thermographic analysis). Develop RCM (reliability Centered Maintenance) methodology.Manage Technical training programs to adjust the knowledge of the team.Participate and conduct various governances to elevate issues to the proper level.Coordination of contractors and professionals.Supervise and coordinate the installation of new equipment through the New Equipment Introduction.Show leadership and commitment to define, maintain, and improve our Maintenance plan and Plant Operations. Develop a sustainability plan.Ensure compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System).CMMS knowledge to implement improvements.
