Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead the upkeep and operational efficiency of Oaks Brisbane River City Suites.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards of safety, presentation, and functionality. You’ll oversee preventative and reactive maintenance, manage contractors, and provide leadership to the maintenance team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all building, plant, and equipment maintenance across the propertyCoordinate preventative maintenance schedules and respond to reactive maintenance requestsManage contractor performance, compliance, and safety standardsEnsure all facilities meet health, safety, and regulatory requirementsDeliver efficient and cost-effective maintenance solutions within budgetProvide hands-on support when required and lead by example

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a facilities, property, or maintenance management role (hospitality or strata highly regarded)Strong knowledge of building systems and OH&S complianceProven leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a small teamExcellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
