Maintenance Engineer/Live Audio Engineer - Full Time

Our Maintenance Engineers/Live Audio Engineers will focus on installing audio, rigging and lighting equipment. They will also perform general maintenance, operation and functional checks.

Responsibilities: Removal and installation of Audio/Rigging/Lighting equipment, assemblies and components utilizing hand tools, power tools and technical documents. Setting and Striking trade show electrical powerPreventive Maintenance Inspections Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks as outlined in written job plans to ensure venues open safely and on-timeFollow a checklist to properly verify and inspect equipment. Requires the use of both hands, color, and visual acuity as well as the use of flashlight and jeweler’s screwdriverOperational and Functional Checks Start and operate audio, lighting, electrical, and dimming systems as well as rigging systems to verify proper operation. Must be able to safely operate equipment and know what actions to take in the event of equipment failure or emergency. Must be able to operate shows both solo as well as part of a teamTroubleshoot Equipment Faults Such as audio, lighting, rigging, and electrical and be able to detect when systems are not operating properlyMust be able to calculate weight loads and electrical loads and have knowledge of systemAbility to read and understand ground plans & schematics Basic Qualifications: You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this roleSchedule Availability - Shifts are typically at night, and individuals must have availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st – Day Shift, 2nd – Swing Shift, and 3rd – Graveyard Shift) including holidays, and must be open to any days offTechnical Skills, Abilities, and ExperienceMust have experience operating Yamaha & Digico mixing consoles, and have the ability to do permanent installations as well as temporary set ups to include a complete understanding of audio networking, signal flow, basic rigging, and line voltage electrical Preferred Qualifications: Basic networking knowledgeDante CertificationsQSYS CertificationsKnowledge and use of QLAB software Additional Information: SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
