Maintenance Engineer

This role includes creating maintenance schedules, writing technical documentation, training technicians, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining maintenance software, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The engineer also monitors equipment performance and reports on key maintenance metrics. **Detailed Description:** + **Source and manage spare parts** , ensuring availability and cost-efficiency + Setup and optimize **spare parts inventory** and stock levels + Develop and implement **preventive and predictive maintenance schedules** + **Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment** to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity + Write clear and detailed **maintenance instructions** and **equipment usage guidelines** + Train **maintenance technicians** on proper maintenance procedures and equipment handling + Implement **best practices** in maintenance and reliability engineering + Maintain and update **maintenance software systems** to track tasks, history, and performance + **Measure equipment reliability** and analyze failure trends + **Report on equipment KPIs** , such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and downtime + Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for **continuous improvement** + Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment uptime and efficiency + Ensure compliance with **safety standards** and maintenance protocols + Hands-on approach with equipment **Requirements:** + Degree or diploma in **Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering** + Proven experience in **maintenance engineering** within a manufacturing environment + Experience in **troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment** + Ability to write **technical documentation** and **standard operating procedures (SOPs)** + Experience training and mentoring technical staff + Familiarity with **CMMS systems** , maintenance planning tools (i.e. AllDevice), and KPI tracking (i.e. Evocon) + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities + Proficiency in **MS Office** and technical drawing interpretation Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
