Responsibilities Operate and maintain hotel mechanical systems such as domestic water system, hot water systems, chilled water systems, pool systemsOperate and understand basic television system, plumbing systems and electrical systems through the hotelAssist other engineers with repairsHave a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergenciesHave a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulationsUnderstand chiller operationsClean all work areas after completing a jobFill out daily paperwork Qualifications Must be able to understand chiller operationsPreferred experience with general plumbing, general electrical, paint, drywall and wall vinyl repairsPreferred mechanical plant experience and knowledge in heating and cooling systems such as: water boilers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, domestic water pumping stations and controlsAbility to climb stairs, ladders and scaffolding or use a man lift to work at heights up to 30 feet, often times reaching above head for extended periods of timeMust be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, overnights, weekends and holidaysOmni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disability.
