Northrop Grumman is seeking an Maintenance Electrician to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Charlottesville, VA. Put your years of experience into a future of excellence. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Maintenance Team supporting a 300,000 square-foot light industrial plant in accordance with applicable building codes and corporate, federal, state safety regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install electrical systems and equipment
Conduit installation and wire pulls
Work from schematics, diagrams, blueprints, written and verbal descriptions
Assist in spill prevention and clean-up activities for hazardous waste materials (training provided)
Assist in general maintenance of buildings and grounds, and snow team during winter months
Weekend and Overtime is expected as a function of the Maintenance Department
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of related experience.
Journeyman Electrician
Commercial electrical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master Electrician
Industrial electrical experience
HVAC Journeyman
CFC Universal Card
Low voltage experience
Salary Range: $66,300.00 - $110,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
