Your role and responsibilities

We are now looking for a new Maintenance Coordinator to join our maintenance team at the IEC LV Motors factory in Vaasa. In this role, you will focus on coordinating maintenance schedules and managing the spare parts inventory to ensure smooth operations in our manufacturing processes, including punching, aluminum casting, machining, assembly, and robotic operations. As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will get to develop your knowledge by diving into Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities to lead and ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability in your responsibility area. You may be the one we are looking for, if you enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders, have an innovative mindset towards maintenance and improving production efficiency through maintenance planning and inventory management. Work model for this role: #LI-onsite You will be mainly accountable for: • Coordinating planned and unplanned maintenance activities with the production team to minimize disruptions• Monitoring maintenance KPIs, such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and adjusting schedules accordingly• Overseeing the procurement and inventory management of spare parts, ensuring critical parts are available to support maintenance activities. • Working with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of spare parts, maintaining a cost-effective supply chain• After deepening your knowledge, leading the TPM program at our facility, promoting continuous improvement in equipment reliability and productivity. Additionally, training and mentoring employees on these TPM principles• Analyzing root causes of equipment failures and implementing corrective and preventive actions• Collaborating with production development and production teams to identify areas for improvement in equipment design or usage• Preparing regular reports (maintenance activities, equipment performance, TPM progress) for management reviews and facilitating TPM audits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications for the role

BSc. or MSc. level degree from a relevant field or equivalent skills acquired through relevant work experience and vocational training Some experience from working in a manufacturing environment Fluency in Finnish and good English, both written and spoken Good people skills and motivation towards working with various stakeholders Good problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to take initiative Basic understanding of maintenance and supply chain principles Knowledge and prior experience from maintenance work, production planning or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) is seen as a benefit
