Maintenance Clerk

We are currently searching for a Maintenance Clerk that will support the Maintenance Team at our Dodson, Louisiana Lumber Facility. This is an hourly role that will report to the site Maintenance Superintendent.

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Key Functions:

Provide direct administrative support to the Maintenance TeamCoordinate Staff and notification meetingsGather required data for projectsTrack work order progressPerform job responsibilities with a commitment to safety policies and proceduresProvide clerical support to maintenance leadership and planners as neededOther duties as assigned or required

High School Diploma or GEDThree years previous administrative experienceMust be able to promote and ensure compliance with safety initiativesExcellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skillsAbility to build and maintain positive relationships with all associatesExcellent work ethic with initiative to get things doneWillingness to support a 24/7 operating environment, which includes willingness to work any shift, weekends and holidays as conditions requireGood judgment and decision-making skillsResume detailing your education and work history is required for considerationDemonstrated proficiency in MS Office and other windows-based programs

Preferred Qualifications

Post Secondary, Technical School certificate or higher education degreeExperience with SAPPrevious work experience in a manufacturing environment
