What will you be doing as an Automation Engineer?
The core focus of the Automation Engineer activity is to monitor and improve the functioning of the industrial control systems in our Thrace Factory, with the optimal use of the available resources.
This will be done through the following activities:
Managing the maintenance activities. Knowledge of SAP maintenance module is desirable. Preferably interested in using diagnostic tools in maintenance. Monitoring and reporting daily maintenance and reliability activities. Analyzing troubleshooting and creating action plans with proper follow up. Monitoring, controlling and taking initiatives for corrective actions to achieve better KPI’s. Working for well-maintained of PLC Scada and electrical-electronic systems and automations systems keeping project and related software and document backups up to date. Ensuring that PLC Scada automation and electrical-electronic systems are maintained and working, to update the project and related software and document backups. Develop automation improvement projects to enhance efficiency and productivity. Periodically checking machines and equipment. Planning team development and providing training for all team members. Participate in the planning and execution of automation projects, including upgrades, expansions, and new installations. Supplier management and application controls on the site according to Bunge rules. plans, it ensures annual, monthly and daily Preventive Maintenance planning and implementation.
What do we expect from our Maintenance Automation Engineer?
Bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronics Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering or related areas. Good command of written and verbal English. 2-5 years of experience in the Maintenance and/or Process Control Automation fields. Production facility experience. Hands-on experience with PLC and SCADA programming. Experience in Siemens PLC (Step 7 - Tia Portal) and SCADA (WinCC – WinCC Professional) and SAP system is preferred. Experience and understanding of general network (TCP/IP L2, L3) models and communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, etc.) used in industry. Knowledge in industrial automation and control systems, usage of automation equipment (inverters, controllers, industrial process regulators), electric equipment of command and control. Specify instrumentation and control devices, such as sensors, actuators, and flow meters. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams. Good command of MS Office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytic skills.
