Maintenance Associate Performs routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on building systems and facilities, while ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality through daily janitorial tasks, major cleaning projects, vendor coordination, and collaboration with property management. Job Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building systems, equipment, and fixtures, including lighting, plumbing, and basic carpentry. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address safety hazards, maintenance needs, and cleanliness standards. Responsible for major cleaning projects such as: painting (interior and exterior), stripping and waxing floors, rug and carpet cleaning. Responsible for the interior and exterior maintenance as well as making sure assigned building(s) are consistently cleaned to provide a safe work environment. Performs daily cleaning duties, including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning walls, windows, restrooms, emptying and cleaning trash containers, when needed. Monitors building-related mechanical systems. Handles work orders in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. Attend developmental trainings as requested. Communicates with and collaborates with onsite property management and property staff to ensure all maintenance needs are met within assigned facility. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, restrooms, and exterior grounds, including trash removal and basic janitorial duties. Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed and report major repair needs to the supervisor in a timely manner. Performs other duties as assigned.
