About the Role

\n

As a Maintenance Assistant, you are responsible for carrying out appropriate maintenance work promptly and to the highest standards to deliver an excellent guest and team member experience. A Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest 
standards:

\n\nCarry out maintenance repair work and respond to enquires efficiently\nWork cooperatively as part of the Maintenance team\nFollow planned preventative maintenance programmes\nBuild good relationships with guests, team members and contractors\nEnsure energy conservation initiatives are implemented\nEnsure our hotel is compliant in regards to legal requirements including fire, health and safety, hygiene, electricity at work, and all local by-laws

What are we looking for?

We’re on the lookout for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team for 3 shifts per week (mostly during weekdays) To successfully fill this role, you should embody our Hilton values and bring the following:

\n\nPositive attitude\nGood communication skills\nCommitted to delivering a high level of customer service\nFlexibility to respond to a range of different work situations\nAbility to work on their own and with the Maintenance team\nPrevious maintenance experience including plumbing, painting and decorating.
