The professional chosen to fill this position will join our MRO organization, working as part of a team in support of our key programs such as military commercial derivatives, fighter aircraft and aircraft component maintenance, repair, and overhaul. The candidate chosen will be responsible for adherence to established processes, accurate and timely work recording and contractual/regulatory compliance. To ensure we continue to support our customers, we are looking for a skilled aircraft maintenance profession to join our team. A successful applicant will be based in Jacksonville, Florida.
Position Responsibilities:
Proficiency reading wire schematics and diagramsHighlight any technical issues, discrepancies or other issues to the lead and managerPerform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of KC-46 aircraft systems including airframe, fuel systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, flight controls, and mechanical components.Enter and work safely within fuel tanks to perform inspections, repairs, and modifications in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Interpret and apply technical data such as maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, service bulletins, and retrofit instructions to complete assigned tasks.Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions in aircraft structure, fuel systems, and related componentsPerform inspections including preventive, phase, and other scheduled maintenance checksUse specialized tools and equipment including torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometersAccess and update aircraft maintenance data via computer systems, including parts ordering and discrepancy reportingMaintain required certifications and comply with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsWork various shifts and schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to meet mission requirementsGeneral Responsibilities:

Minimum 3 years of experience performing maintenance and repair on military or commercial aircraft, with preference given to experience on KC-46 or similar military tanker/transport or commercial aircraft.Proven ability to safely enter and work within aircraft fuel tanks. (10x18 opening)Minimum 3 years of experience with systems diagnostics and troubleshooting.1+ years of experience reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering data.Willing and able to work any shift (Must be able & willing to work various shifts and / or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays; mission requirements and / or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime)Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) certificate.Experience working on KC-46 or other military tanker aircraft.Additional certifications or training related to fuel system maintenance and safety.Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience.Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and environmental processes (Human Factors, FOD control, tool control, health & safety & COSHH)Drug Free Workplace:

Associate Level (GFD5IB): $59,384 - $77,176
Experienced Level (GFD5IC): $62,837 - $81,663
