Delaware North Travel is looking for a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our team at Austin Bergstrom Airport in Austin, Texas. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property.

What will you do?Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed and install shelves, hooks, and closet rodsChange light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaksPerform lawn maintenance including mowing and removing weeds Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep the maintenance room in neat conditionAssist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and suppliesBe prepared to be on call and have an occasional overnight shiftOperate a motor vehicle when necessary

More about youNo high school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 1 year of previous experience in general maintenance and repair for commercial facility requiredPrevious experience with heavy or agricultural machinery preferredHVAC experience, not required but helpful in this roleMust have a driver’s license

Physical requirementsFrequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneelingAbility to lift up to 70 poundsStanding and walking 100% of the timeMust be able to work outside in all types of weather
