Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and light maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in the engineering field.
Primary Responsibilities:
This position performs general maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, or painting.Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.Maintains service documentation. Communicates with management, partners and management team regarding issues, project completion timelines and workload priorities.Performs all facility equipment repairs. Maintains tools, parts, equipment, and supplies in clean and safe condition. Acts as a resource for all partners in equipment and service maintenance.General interior maintenance – hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems and repair doors.Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directedMoves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requestedCandidate must be willing to work in a multi-skilled team environment.Flexibility to flow to the work will be required to accomplish all daily operations and maintenance tasks.Skills/Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 2 years field experience.Must have ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, and possess mechanical and electrical aptitude.Person must have good communication skills, both verbal and written. Good general computer skills with knowledge in E-mail, Internet, and Office Software are a plus for this position. Person must be a self-motivated individual who can work independently or in a team environment.Ability to comply with both Jones Lang LaSalle and client-directed Policies & Procedures.Successful candidate must be self-motivated who can work independently or on a team.

70,000.00 – 80,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
