Join us! **Job Description:** This job is responsible for supporting multiple security engineering efforts to deliver enterprise security capabilities. Key responsibilities include supporting the design, development, and implementation of systems contributing to the protection of systems, devices, and sensitive data. Job expectations include delivering milestones on engineering initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for collaboration, and solving complex issues within one or more security domains with moderate oversight. **Responsibilities:** + Designs, develops, and implements systems to contribute to the protection of system boundaries, harden computer systems and network devices against attacks, and secure sensitive data + Drives complex technical information security projects to ensure on-time delivery + Identifies and raises risks and potential vulnerabilities at all stages of the security engineering process + Leverages knowledge of information security technologies, techniques, and processes while continuing to grow knowledge within one or more security engineering domains + Identifies, defines, and documents system security requirements + Works closely with a diverse set of stakeholders with varying priorities to debate and negotiate paths forward + Thinks outside the box to develop multiple solutions to complex problems + This position is accountable for the system configuration and overall operations of mainframe security packages like RACF and VM:Secure . + The role ensures configuration compliance to security policies and standard published by Bank of America Global Information Security. + The position participates in the review and development of Baseline settings to meet the policy and standards, the development of sustainability routines to ensure ongoing compliance, remediation of security configuration drift, ensure data feeds to downstream GIS systems meet requirements, and provide Level 3 support for GIS IAM Mainframe Provisioning. **Required Qualifications** + Understand Security and Risk in large computer environment. + Build scripts to process data. + Familiar with provisioning security using VM:Secure. + Develop technical documentation + Understand and use basic Incident, Problem, Change concepts in large mainframe environments. + Good verbal and written communication skills. + 2 + years experience using VM:Secure in a zVM mainframe environment as a technical or provisioning support person. + 2+ years with supporting a security and risk in a mainframe environment + Ability to use general Office Suite products on a Windows based computer + Ability to participate in off-hour rotating on-call schedule + Ability to work independently and on a team. **Desired Qualifications** + Understand the zVM environment and be able to navigate to tools, logs, configuration files. + Ability to code scripts using programming language supported in zVM. + Experienced using VM:Secure to secure zVM and reduce risk in the zVM environment. + Knowledge of BMC Remedy or IT Service Management Tool. **Skills:** + Collaboration + Influence + Result Orientation + Solution Design + Technical Strategy Development + Critical Thinking + Cyber Security + Information Systems Management + Solution Delivery Process + Stakeholder Management + Access and Identity Management + DevOps Practices + Financial Management + Risk Management + Test Engineering **Shift:** 1st shift (United States of America) **Hours Per Week:** 40 Bank of America and its affiliates consider for employment and hire qualified candidates without regard to race, religious creed, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, protected veteran or disability status or any factor prohibited by law, and as such affirms in policy and practice to support and promote the concept of equal employment opportunity, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, provincial and municipal laws.
