The Infrastructure Analyst 2 is an intermediate level role responsible for assisting with Mainframe BAU activities, programs and some projects that require a higher level of expertise to develop within the MF technical knowledge with the Technology Infrastructure, CHG and Batch team. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks along to pursue the team growing and being capable to provide assistance not only to BAU but other peers
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve problems through evaluative judgment, troubleshooting and analysisEnsure successful completion of data loads and batch processingParticipate in testing activities, including the creation and execution of basic test scriptsExecute project plan taskParticipate in control activities (risk, self-assessment, COB, audit, etc.) and make recommendations for enhancementsEvaluate issues using existing procedures or similar/related experiences; recommend and implement solutionsExchange ideas and information in a concise and clear mannerAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Work over but not limited with OPC, NDM, z/OS, TSO/ISPF, JCL modifiy, TWS, job demands, IOF, SAR, Syslogs, jobs outputsThe analyst must demonstrate knowledge on the are for Infrastructure, Batch and CHG to ensure there will be no break out on serviceHave a good base zOS knowledge, terminology and be able to analyze scenarios to provide the needed support on the L1 sideHave a good understanding of the operation end to end serviceMust understand the standard processes and operational model for escalationBe able to provide deputy support to team leadsQualifications:
1-2 years of experience in a Mainframe Technology EnvironmentAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audienceAbility to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadlineEffective written and verbal communication skillsEffective analytic/diagnostic skillsEducation:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experienceIndispensable: Experiencia en entornos de Mainframe para unirse a nuestro equipo de Tecnología de Infraestructura, Cambios (CHG) y Procesos por Lotes (Batch).
Al ser un rol de nivel intermedio enfocado en actividades de "Business as Usual" (BAU), programas y proyectos que requieren un conocimiento técnico especializado en Mainframe.
