Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional Agile SQUAD team members to design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, and DB2 - Work closely with product owners and business analysts to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and prioritize features based on cost considerations - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and deployment activities to ensure the quality and performance of developed solutions - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices in mainframe development Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - - Strong understanding of cost basis applications and experience in cost analysis and optimization - Proven experience in developing and implementing solutions in an agile environment, following best practices and standards - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
