Install, customize, and maintain CICS Transaction Server software and related components on Mainframe systems, ensuring compatibility, performance, and security.

Configure and manage CICS regions, transaction routing, resource definition, and security settings to support business applications effectively.

Monitor CICS performance and resource utilization, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, tuning CICS parameters, and optimizing system throughput.

Implement and maintain disaster recovery and high availability solutions for CICS environments, ensuring business continuity in case of system failures or disasters.

Collaborate with application developers to design, develop, and test CICS applications, providing guidance on best practices, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.

Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and standards for CICS administration tasks, including installation guides, configuration manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams and end-users, troubleshooting and resolving CICS-related issues effectively.

Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in Mainframe CICS administration and share knowledge within the team.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Mainframe CICS System Engineer.
