Job Description
Responsibility for maintaining current mainframe z/OS automation application and continually developing and implementing improvements with in the environment.  

Support monitoring tools owned and supported by Mainframe Automation team.  e.g.: CA-Sysview, CA-OPS/MVS, CA-Automation Point, IBM-SA, IBM-IOM, BMC AMI ops; z/OSHandles day to day requestsPerforms mid-level troubleshootingPlans and executes customization for software upgradesSupports console design modelSupports operating system upgradesBusiness Continuity Planning and participationPerforms conversions of existing automation environment to strategic toolsAssists team members on projects, troubleshooting and code developmentAudit and Security SupportWorks with global community to identify best in class automationIdentifies future trends and impact to our automation environment, leading transitionsDevelops automation code to assist in planning and executing customization for software upgradesWrites strategic automation codeLeads team members on projects including New BusinessPerforms migrations of new business or internal migrationsImplements virtual console design modelRex codingIn charge of z/OS system automation

Qualifications

10 years related experience, at least 5 in AutomationExperience with z/OSExperience with Microsoft SharePoint
 

Work Environment

Remote – in the US

1st shift; on call as needed - 24 x 7 on call support – rotation

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $91,400 - $169,700.
