Demonstrating flexibility by being willing to handle unplanned assignments as necessaryIdentifying patient mail and forwarding it to the Volunteer Department for deliveryIdentifying and escalating suspicious packages to the Director of SecurityMaintaining a separate area for processing incoming and outgoing mail to ensure organizational efficiencyKeeping a manifest of all incoming/outgoing Certified and Express MailMaintaining a neat, safe, and secure working environment, ensuring the mail center is secured after business hoursEstablishing a recordkeeping system that upholds confidentiality and sensitivity of informationMonitoring and restocking supplies, promptly notifying the immediate supervisor of any replenishment needsManaging postage permit logs for Bulk Mail, Business Reply, and Postage Due Accounts, alerting the supervisor when funds require replenishmentMonitoring mail usage to prevent misuse of company postage by employees for personal usePreparing and processing Nonprofit mailings in accordance with U.S. Postal Service guidelinesEnsuring the accurate processing of all outgoing mail daily, sorting and distributing mail to the appropriate departmental slotsProperly identifying and returning mail for personnel who no longer work for the Medical CenterNotifying the supervisor when the postage mail meter needs replenishing and ensuring the secure storage of postage meters when not in usePerforming duties independently, reporting challenging situations to the immediate supervisorOperating mail machines safely and efficientlyOther Duties:
