Magnet Program Coordinator

**Position Summary** :
The Magnet Program Coordinator is accountable for coordinating activities required to maintain the ANCC Magnet recognition. This position will direct, coordinate, consult and assist with the implementation of programs and initiatives that support compliance with the ANCC Magnet Program standards. Works with nursing leaders and managers in all areas nursing care is provided to develop and sustain an environment that includes organizational professional nursing activities and structures that promote an optimal work environment for professional nurses and care team members, resulting in excellent patient care outcomes.
**Position Requirements** :
+ Must be licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Il.
+ Earned nursing degree at the baccalaureate level or higher required. Graduate degree required.
+ National Certification required within 2 years of hire
+ Ability to navigate organizational structure to assure collaboration to meet Magnet standards.
+ Must have ability to be self-directed, team oriented.
+ Previous experience with Magnet program preferred.
