JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for leading the Human Resources function across two manufacturing facilities. It serves as a strategic partner to plant leadership, supporting workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Strategy & Leadership
Provide strategic Human Resources partnership to plant leadership teams to support business goals, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.Lead a team of Hunan Resources Business Partners, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery, capability development, and alignment across both facilities.Serve as a thought partner to site and corporate leaders, contributing to broader Human Resources and business strategies.Employee Relations & Culture
Oversee complex employee relations issues to ensure fair and consistent outcomes that align with company values and policies.Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives, leader coaching, and communication strategies.Support change management efforts during organizational or operational transitions.Talent Management & Development
Support talent acquisition and onboarding efforts in coordination with recruitment teams to meet workforce needs.Drive local execution of performance management, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.Ensure training and development programs are effectively delivered and aligned to compliance, safety, and skill-building needs.Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records in accordance with internal requirements and regulatory standards.Corporate Program Execution & Compliance
Implement and sustain corporate Human Resources programs, policies, and systems at the site level, ensuring alignment and local accountability.Serve as the primary connection point between corporate Human Resources and plant leadership for enterprise-wide Human Resources initiatives.Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal policies and procedures.Support audit readiness and compliance reporting, including EEO, training completion, and documentation requirements.Human Resources Operations, Metrics & Budget Management
Create, manage, and monitor the Human Resources department budget, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.Oversee site-level timekeeping processes and ensure timely, accurate payroll submission in coordination with corporate payroll and finance teams.Use data and reporting tools to monitor key Human Resources metrics (e.g., turnover, headcount, time-to-fill, training compliance), identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.Ensure integrity of Human Resources systems and records, including employee data, organizational structures, and workforce reporting.Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals. Actively contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, demonstrating flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and priorities.REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field. 7+ years Human Resources Management experience.Certificate in Human Resources preferred.Sound knowledge of Human Resources processes and applicable legal requirements within the region.Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast paced environment.Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, Dayforce).Valid Driver’s License.Must have or be able to attain/maintain a current Passport.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in manufacturing environments.English proficiency required, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office Environment: 90%Plant Environment: 10%The employee must be able to tolerate sitting for extended periods of time. It requires (Near/Far/Depth/Color) vision in order to be able to tolerate the eye strain associated with working on a computer throughout the workday.Must be able to tolerate the use of a keyboard and mouse on average of 8 hours per workday.While working in the Plant environment, the employee will be exposed to machinery, moving equipment and material, moderate noise, airborne particles, fumes, and various levels of temperature created by the manufacturing process.This role operates primarily in an office environment. Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings or other specific purposes. Travel requirements for this position are estimated at 5% of time and may include both domestic and/or international destinations as needed.KEY COMPETENCIES:
