The Assistant Visual Manager executes and oversees the merchandising, product flow, and display. They lead the team through service, styling and daily store operations to create an inspiring and dynamic experience for the customer.
Role ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience
Involves entire team in selling and visual initiatives that enhance the customer experience; encourages employees to build lasting relationships through personalized service, product recommendations and connecting with the customer in an authentic wayTakes a forward-thinking approach to the customer experience, in-store marketing, merchandising and fostering a creative community to drive sales and create a compelling store environmentMentors the team to provide a frictionless customer experience by utilizing technology to clientele and transact in the momentLeadership + Team Management
Promotes an inclusive environment by representing and amplifying all voices, actively seeking and advocating different perspectivesSets clear objectives and expectations by coaching team members on analysis of business and training the team on how to impact through styling and visual executionUtilizes brand resources to teach team on styling, trends and product knowledge to appeal to the local customerVisual + Business Operations
Manages the visual experience to meet Company expectations, budgets, and timeline while strategizing according to individual store characteristicsAssesses store business using Company reporting to identify merchant opportunities within product placement, outfitting, and stock levelsOversees efficient shipment process to maximize product placement; creates strategies for replenishment and recovery of sell-through and markdownsContributes to a customer-first by prioritizing the needs of the customer while balancing visual executionCommunication + Relationships
Provides global product and visual feedback to Store Manager and District Manager; submits store environment photos to highlight merchandising and display updatesCommunicates with team daily to motivate, provide styling insights and educate on product placementEmbraces a culture of development by delivering feedback for individual personal growth and succession planningContributes to positive team morale through SPARKED initiative, employee recognition, and team building activities Role Qualifications• Anthro brand fan
• 3+ years store visual merchandising and leadership experience
• Strong styling and merchant skills with a history of delivering financial results
• Experience with floor planning
• Proven record of developing great talent
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays
