The ideal candidate will have customer service experience in a similar role at a similar sized property and full availability, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

\nPay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 / hour

What will I be doing?
\n\n
As a Made Market Attendant, you would be responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer, educating customers about our premium coffees and teas, and fulfil any other duties the Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Shift Supervisor assigns.
\n\n
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\nSales/Customer Service
\n\nPassionate ambassador of coffee & service.\n\nSells and serves products to customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
\n\n\nActively greets every guest upon entering the store.
\n\n\nAnticipates customer needs to ensure guest satisfaction.
\n\n\nPractices proper food and drink handling procedures.
\n\n\nAdheres to cashing handling procedures.
\n\n\nWorks at a fast pace keeping the established drink guidelines.
\n\n\nSafely handles all hot and cold drinks during drink preparation.
\n\n\nVerbally receives and calls back customer orders in a friendly manner.
\n\n\nReports all customer complaints to manager on duty.
\n\n\nResponds pro-actively to prevent customer service situations.
\n\n\nAccurately rings sales orders into cash register and counts back change to customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
\n\n\nAnswers telephone in a courteous and friendly manner including but not limited to giving store greeting, directions to store location, receiving and filling customer orders.
\n\n\nAnswers customer questions regarding coffee blends, preparation, etc., in a courteous and friendly manner.
\n\n\nSells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food and beverage items to customers.
\n\n\nMaintains efficient, friendly service standards.
\n\n\nAbility to effectively deal and resolve conflict situations
\n\n\nDelivers quality products to the guest in a friendly and professional manner and in accordance with hotel standards
\n\n\n\nMade Market Operations
\n\n\n\nMaintains acceptable amounts of coffee product and supplies for the bar.Performs and oversees opening and closing duties. Ensures that all the products and supplies on the shelves are fully stocked\n\n
Ensures buss runs are done according to company standards
\n\n\nReports potential safety hazards to the Manager(s).
\n\n\nReports all employee accidents to the Manager(s) and contacts security to report accident.
\n\n\nReports all Lost & Found items to Security
\n\n\nInforms the Manager(s) of any operational inconsistencies.
\n\n\nRestocks and organizes shelves and displays when necessary.
\n\n\nRoutinely cleans the bar area, tables, floor, windows and grinders, take out trash, etc.
\n\n\nRoutinely washes dishes and other cooking utensils. Restocks all clean small wares.
\n\n\nRoutinely mops the floor and/or ensures that floor is cleaned regularly
\n\n\nSet up order bags including all items needed (beverages, soup, condiments, pre-packed items, etc.), except items being cooked a la minute and coming from the kitchen.
\n\n\nRetrieving food from the kitchen once ready
\n\n\nCheck orders for accuracy before delivery
\n\n\nDelivering orders to rooms or to guests that pick up
\n\n\nAttending to the tables adjacent the Made Market / Hothouse & Lobby areas where guest may consume by bussing tables, etc.
\n\n\nDelivering amenities (when needed)
\n\n\nPicking up amenity supplies after use from guestrooms (as needed)
