Location is at the Michigan Alzheimer's Disease Center in Ann Arbor where there is free staff parking. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. This position is a term-limited position for two years, with potential to continue dependent on research grant funding. The Michigan Alzheimer's Disease Center (MADC)is an NIH-funded research center focused on conducting and supporting Alzheimer's disease and related dementia research. A key aim of the center's research is to work with underrepresented communities to address racial and ethnic disparities in Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. The center also spans beyond research by promoting state-of-the-art care and wellness for individuals and families affected by dementia and increasing dementia awareness through education and outreach across the state. We are seeking a positive, highly motivated, organized, autonomous person with excellent multi-tasking ability and record-keeping skills to work with principal investigators and other research team members to accurately and efficiently carry out a range of tasks associated with a variety of research studies. The candidate will be able to operate in an independent manner to assist in clinical research and related projects. Communication and Teamwork **Job Responsibilities** **Project Coordination and Scheduling** + Coordinate and support multiple ongoing neuroimaging projects, including clinical trials. + Manage weekly and monthly imaging schedules for MRI, PET, and other research modalities. + Serve as the primary contact for imaging acquisition and scheduling-related questions. **Training and Cross-Team Collaboration** + Train and support new and existing research staff on imaging workflows and study protocols. + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including MADC cores, Neurology, and Neuropsychology trial staff, to support seamless daily operations. **Participant Coordination and Safety** + Schedule participants and complete imaging-related safety screenings. + Review and manage medical documentation for MRI and PET eligibility. + Utilize electronic medical records (EPIC, MiChart) to verify eligibility and place appropriate study orders. + Ensure all consent processes and MRI de-metal protocols are completed accurately. + Transport participants between research sites using UM-Fleet vehicles when needed. **Administrative and Regulatory Support** + Assist with imaging budgets, billing processes, and human subject payment documentation. + Maintain IRB documentation, including submissions, renewals, and required regulatory reporting. + Enter and manage study data with a strong focus on accuracy and quality assurance. + Support other administrative functions as assigned by the Core or Center leadership. **Supervision Received:** This position reports directly to Neuroimaging Core Leadership, Neuroimaging Core Manager, a unit Administrator, Director, or Faculty Principal Investigator. **Supervision Exercised:** None. **Required Qualifications*** + Bachelor's degree required, and degree in a health science discipline strongly preferred. + Certification (or eligibility to certify within six months of hire) from ACRP (CCRC) or SOCRA (CCRP), or equivalent. + Candidates must review eligibility criteria from ACRP or SOCRA prior to applying. + At least two years of experience directly related to clinical research and trials. + Experience with medical chart abstraction and/or research data entry. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills. + Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. + Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. **Desired Qualifications*** + Four or more years of clinical research experience. + Experience working in a healthcare or research setting with older adult populations. + Familiarity with medical imaging or radiology workflows. + Experience using EPIC/MiChart, REDCap, and Microsoft 365. + Previous experience with clinical data management, patient enrollment, informed consent, and administering research surveys. + Experience working on multisite studies within healthcare systems. + Knowledge of medical terminology. + Two or more years of customer service experience. **Modes of Work** Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
