About the Role

As a software engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of new software. Keep up-to-date on cutting edge technologies and effectively incorporate that knowledge to our platform roadmap, design and implementation. Work closely with leaders, developers, QA and designer to turn design ideas into features that scale to millions of users.

You will mainly work on HARMAN Quantum ENGINE software development areaWork closely with leaders, developers, QA and designer to turn design ideas into features that scale to millions of usersTake pride in quality - test, track, and monitor features that you ship to our customers and actively fix issues that crop upWork with technical leaders, managers and product stakeholders to define and design the technical solutionCommunicate solution approaches to enterprise architects, project team and other stakeholdersKeep up-to-date on cutting edge technologies and effectively incorporate that knowledge to our platform roadmap, design and implementationDefine the technical requirements for the implementation of the solution

What You Need to Be Successful

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering5+ years of macOS software development experience. At least 2+ years of macOS audio development experience. Able to work independently and also collaborate with focused teamsRich hands-on knowledge of macOS Audio Unit and Audio Driver KitProficient with Objective-C and Swift programing, C/C++/C# development experience is preferred. Experience in multi-thread, multi-process, memory sharing, socket communication programming technologyExperience in Debugging / Bug fixing needed with proper software and hardware toolsUnderstands system & product architecture, requirements and proficient in design from the embedded system challenges with ownershipGood communication skills to interact with international counterparts professionally
