Position Summary + Machine aerospace components to required quality standards at expected production levels by following all required processes and instructions Qualifications + Operates mills and lathes to perform basic machining functions while obtaining additional skills and knowledge including the ability to perform successful setups, troubleshooting, etc. + Will train effectively to machine aerospace components to required quality standards at expected production levels by following all required processes and instructions + Completes necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and the proper movement and control of product + Completes all quality related inspection requirements + Actively participates in High Performance Teams and Continuous Improvement activities + Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures + Other assignments as required + Understands and demonstrates comprehension of drawings, blueprints and Manufacturing Work Instructions + Must be detail oriented to keep accurate records and notes. + Demonstrates respect for others and the training process + Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems with limited information + Able to communicate effectively with management, and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork + Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed + Must be dependable and available to work overtime when required + Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook + Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision + Willingness to work 2ndshift + Ability to carry/ lift up to 35 lbs. (50% of the time). Must have the ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment.
