Machinist is required to perform first article inspections and correct any discrepancies between part measurements and print requirements. Must be able to perform advanced set-up and fixturing of jobs. Candidate needs to be skilled in all aspects of machining and have the ability to troubleshoot and rectify any problems and assist other machinists as needed. Lathe machinist Job Duties, Responsibilities: Set up and operate the Citizen Lathe machine, adhering to production standards procedures, efficiencies and quality. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining workflow. Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal productivity. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machines to ensure proper functioning. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure effective communication and smooth workflow maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Identify areas for process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Lathe Machinist Requirements & Qualifications Needed: Basic math and geometry knowledge with elementary knowledge of engineering principals. Ability to read blueprints, follow work order and verbal instructions. Machine Setup and Operator years of experience: 5 years minimum.
