Job Description:

SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITES

Use turning and milling equipment to make cuts in various materialsFamiliar with the use of basic measurement equipment such as calipers and micrometersMaintains inventory of completed productsChecks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defectsSupports production and maintenance with fabricating or repairing equipment partsIdentifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairsAdheres to EST safety and quality policies

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Must be able to read and understand drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerancesProven ability to work independently and as part of a teamExperience working in a general machine shop or manufacturing facility

EDUCATIONAL and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum High School education or EquivalentExperience working with machine tools or mechanical assemblyApprenticeship or vocation training preferred
