Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist with a minimum of 2 years' experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up and running CNC machines independently, with a solid understanding of height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and blueprint interpretation. Familiarity with Fanuc Controls is crucial as you will need to operate efficiently with minimal guidance.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mill machines independently.Utilize Fanuc Controls effectively at the machine.Interpret and work from blueprints accurately.Ensure the precision and quality of parts using height gauges, calipers, and micrometers.Maintain and manage own set of tools, including 6” calipers, 0-1 inch mic, dial indicator, edge finder, wrenches, dead blow hammer, and Allen wrenches.Work in a two-machine cell environment utilizing Mill Turn lathes with live milling tooling and twin spindles.MUST PROVIDE OWN BASIC TOOLS. Including mics and cals.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years' experience as a CNC Mill Machinist.Proficient in setting up and running CNC machines.Strong knowledge of Fanuc Controls.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Must possess own tools as listed.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with 3 Axis Mill and Mill Turn experience.Experience working with Haas, Kia, and Doosan brand machines.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a major supplier facility with approximately 50 employees. The shop is climate-controlled, with first shift hours from 7am to 3:30pm. Opportunities for overtime are available by starting earlier or working on Saturdays from 7am to noon. The dress code includes jeans, a T-shirt, and steel-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.
