Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dependable Part-Time Machinist to support our machining operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with manual and/or CNC machines and the ability to assist with the training of others. This position also involves machine maintenance and helping to fabricate parts to precise specifications. Assist in the setup and operation of machining equipment (manual and/or CNC), perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation, and train and mentor less experienced staff or students in machining techniques and safety protocols. Interpret drawings and specifications to produce high-quality parts, maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, and support other shop functions as needed. Skills and Requirements Proven experience as a machinist in a workshop or industrial setting.   Ability to train and communicate effectively with others.   Strong understanding of machining practices, tools, and safety procedures.   Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Experience with both manual and CNC equipment.   Prior teaching, training, or mentorship experience.
