This includes laminating, slitting, die-cutting and assembly work with various materials including foams, rubbers, metals, graphite, cork-fibers, and fiberglass.  Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Responsibilities:Sets-up and operate any shop machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelinesReads and interprets blueprints, drawings, Job Orders, routers and diagrams to select dies, position, and secure machineryAdjusts machine settings to complete tasks per specification to run job orders accurately and maximize productivityAdheres to operating procedures/instructionsAccurately record labor and material usage in ERP system Qualifications and Requirements:High school diploma/GED equivalentKnowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, expectations, and procedures in manufacturingAbility to read and perform basic math skills including countingAbility to use various tools including tape measure, dial caliper, and other hand toolsMust have a good command of the English language, both written and spokenBasic reading skills for understanding drawings, Job Orders, and specsStrong manual dexterityMust be able to lift 50 lbsMust be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check Benefits and Perks:$17-21 an hourMedical, Dental & Vision & Benefits 401kReferral Bonuses Your New Organization:Our client is a cutting-edge flexible materials converter that provides innovative die cut solutions to leading manufacturers around the globe.
