Machine Shop Supervisor
We are looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor to join our Exlar team!
As our Machine Shop Supervisor you will, oversee and assure the set up and operation of all standard machines, including tool and die making, as well as general experimental machinery, recommending design changes in equipment, material and/or procedures as needed.
Location: Chanhassen, MN
Salary: $75,000 to $100,000

Your Challenge
Responsible to assign daily manufacturing activities within department.Supervise and direct personnel within department in performing operations in accordance with Company’s policies and procedures.Monitor daily performance of department and employees against established manufacturing standards, quality standards and timely completion of assigned tasks.Collaborate with process engineering to identify and implement improvement opportunities.Interview applicants for department openings and make recommendations to management regarding resource needs.Maintain good housekeeping policy within department and maintain Preventive Maintenance schedules. Help coordinate machine maintenance and repairs as required.Conduct new employee orientation concerning daily work and safety rules.Provide probationary and performance evaluations for employees within department.Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.What You Bring
High School Graduate.Must be a US Person.CNC machining experience required.2-5 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.Blueprint reading and certified inspection capability.Manufacturing cutting tool and fixturing experience pertaining to materials and operations within the Company.Who We Are
