Job Description

Are you a skilled Machine Repair Technician looking for a dynamic role where you can apply your expertise? We're seeking dedicated professionals for our 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) to maintain and repair a wide range of machinery, equipment, and structures at our Miamisburg site.

In this crucial role, you'll be instrumental in supporting our production team, ensuring our manufacturing and facility equipment operate at peak performance. Your work directly contributes to producing superior quality materials that meet and exceed client needs.

What You'll Do:

Diagnose and resolve mechanical equipment malfunctions.Perform comprehensive troubleshooting, identifying failures and replacing defective components using detailed drawings, diagrams, and manuals.Ensure accurate positioning of production machines.Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.Inspect and maintain shop equipment under OSHA regulations.Install functional and structural parts, and prepare new machines for operation.Repair and maintain various machinery, including pneumatic tools, motors, and conveyor systems, utilizing testing instruments and precision tools.Disassemble machines, repair/replace broken parts, and adjust functional components as needed.Clean, lubricate, and inspect all completed repairs.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).3+ years of demonstrated experience in a mechanical repair environment, complemented by applied education and/or an apprenticeship.Working knowledge of shop math.Demonstrated experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.Proficiency in setting up and operating mills, drills, lathes, grinders, and surface grinders.Good interpersonal, mathematical, and mechanical/technical skills, with logical problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently in a safe and timely manner.Comfortable working at heights of 12-15 feet on a manlift.Flexibility to work overtime (mandatory and voluntary periods)

Physical Requirements:

Movement: May require the ability to stand/walk for up to 80% of your shift, with frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and squatting 50% of the time.Lifting: May require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds 50% of your shift.Environment: May require being comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures.
