Machine Repair Foreman
**Job Title: Machine Repair Foreman** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Repair Foreman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for disassembling, replacing, and repairing presses and other industrial equipment. You will utilize rigging equipment such as overhead cranes, hilos, and gantries to move presses when necessary. Precision measurement equipment will be used to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial machinery. This position requires adherence to all safety policies and quality standards. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing and training apprentices and collaborating with other departments as needed. **Responsibilities** + Disassemble, replace, and repair presses and other industrial equipment. + Use rigging equipment to move presses when necessary. + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial equipment using precision measurement tools. + Ensure compliance with safety policies and quality standards. + Develop and train apprentices. + Collaborate with other departments as needed. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years of experience with industrial equipment repair (i.e., stamping presses, forging presses). + Ability to utilize precision measurement equipment. + Valid driver's license. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + CDL-A license beneficial but not required. + Welding and industrial machinery experience beneficial. + Willingness to travel beneficial but not required. + Ability to work off shift and be on call when necessary. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy double time on Sundays, holiday pay plus double time on holidays, and affordable Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance with low premiums. The schedule is Monday through Friday, typically 9 to 10-hour days starting at 6 AM, with about one weekend a month required. Employees meet at the shop in the morning and travel to job sites with the foreman. Up to 30% travel is expected, but this is flexible. Employees are paid from the time they punch in. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Pontiac, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
