Job Details:
Pay: $17.65/hr
SUMMARY: These positions are entry level non-skilled and are responsible for mentoring production line workers. This while maintaining a clean and safe work environment and adhering to company’s SOP’s.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
• Monitor stretching routine to report non-compliance
• Be a model for safety and quality (GMP; FPS) standards
• Keep consistent flow of product
• Shovel product when needed
• Mentor new employees on the line
• Assist in coordinating materials and communications to follow production plan
• Remove fallout product from the line as needed
• Tray pack product from the line when not performing listed duties
• Keep the area clean
• All other duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
• Detailed Oriented
• Ability to carry out essential duties and responsibilities efficiently
• Ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
Physical Requirements / Environment:
• Stand/Walk: Continuously (up to 8 hours)
• Lift/Carry: Occasionally (20 – 40 lbs.)
• Simple/Firm Grasping: Frequently
• Other Physical Requirements:
o Bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder (up to 2 ft.): Frequently
• Environment: Continuously - Working around moving machinery, working in a cold, slippery and damp environment (Below 40 degrees F).
External Requirement: 6-month Production Experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).
Rehire Consideration:
Max of two (2) previous Tyson Employments to be considered for hire. 90 days (3 months) waiting period.Relocation Assistance Eligible:
