Starting rate: $20.00 per hour + $2 shift differential Production Schedule: 5:00AM- 5:00PMM-THU APAL, HAPI, Metal Shop, PUR Essential Duties: + Advanced machine operation + Advanced Troubleshooting skills + Complete Day by Hour, first piece inspection, and scrap documentation + Advanced changeovers requiring multiple machine setups/tools + Read production orders to verify quality standards for quantities and labeling + Perform preventive maintenance on equipment + Perform First Piece Inspection and other quality duties as needed + Operate power industrial trucks as needed + Complete scrap paperwork Responsibilities: + Alert Supervisor and maintenance personnel of any problems that may arise. + Make machine adjustments as necessary to produce products that meet company specifications. + Order raw materials to the line as needed. + Make sure all materials are loaded into the machine in a quick, efficient manner so that downtime is limited. + Count and record rejected products and scrap material. + Keep work area clean, free from debris and compliant with 5S markings. + Clean machine and work area at the end of each shift. + Ensure that all personnel are following plant safety guidelines. + Complete production reports. + Perform other duties as assigned by management Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: + May be required to lift up to approximately 40 pounds + Must be able to stand at work station for a long period of time + Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion + Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles + Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions Education and Experience Requirements + HS Degree or GED + 3-5 years of manufacturing experience (at least 2 years machine operator experience) + Basic computer skills + Advanced troubleshooting skills + Ability to communicate in English + Must be able to pass a tape measure test + Must be able to pass a machine aptitude test
