Machine Operator I

Dixon is looking for a Machine Operator to join its Dixon Boss team in Chestertown on Maryland's eastern shore. The ideal candidate will have prior experience assembling hydraulic fittings for agricultural use. However, we can train for the role. This role centers on the efficient and precise operation of specialized machinery to produce parts according to specifications. Key responsibilities include setting up and loading materials into small hydraulic presses for forming, semi-automated marking devices for
labeling, and semi-automated threading equipment for fastener creation, as well as other equipment for forming, punching or assembling components. The operator is responsible for monitoring machine performance, making minor adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency, and performing routine quality checks on finished parts. Basic troubleshooting and adherence to safety protocols are also essential for ensuring continuous production and a safe working environment.
