Essential Duties

Produces sub assemblies and final assemblies of ventilation and specialty products for the retail and wholesale industry. Operates equipment safely and efficiently, meeting quality standards and production targets.Production Process
• Operates a wide variety of simple one step or one-process machines to manufacture ventilation or specialty products. Stays abreast of changes to the Illustrated Assembly Process sheets.
• Ensures that work area has been set up to provide optimum safe work area and work flow. Monitors quality of materials supplied and parts produced. Recommends corrections to machine or parts to eliminate scrap.
• Keeps track of production on daily schedule control sheets and other production reports. Tracks downtime of equipment and production.
• Inspects equipment for operating efficiency.
• Cleans, performs basic maintenance, and makes minor repairs or specified operating adjustments to equipment.
• Cleans and maintains work area in accordance with plant standards.Safety
• Performs all duties, responsibilities, and job task assignments in accordance with safety and environmental procedures, methods, policies, rules and regulations.
• Is familiar with and uses correctly the appropriate personal protection equipment. Ensures protection features of equipment, process operations, and tools are operationally intact and applied as instructed.
• Maintains assigned work areas in accordance with prescribed housekeeping standards.

Qualifications Required

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required6 months prior manufacturing experience in a fast paced environment. Required

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Hourly Rate: $22.78
