Job Description:

Location: Seymour, Connecticut

We are actively seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery in accordance with company safety policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the equipment manufacturer’s guidelines. This role ensures consistent production output and product quality while contributing to overall manufacturing efficiency. Actively seeking candidates in the Seymour, CT area and surrounding towns.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient performance and product quality.
Perform routine machine setup, adjustments, and basic maintenance as needed.
Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, following company standards.
Load raw materials and remove finished goods from machines safely and efficiently.
Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Maintain accurate production records and report any equipment issues to supervisors.
Keep work area clean and organized to support a safe and efficient environment.

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous manufacturing or production experience a plus
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Basic understanding of safety and quality standards
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
