Plastipak in Champaign is growing & hiring.  We manufacture packaging for products you use every day.  Our facility is extremely clean, safe & climate-controlled.  Joining us as a Machine Operator is a great way to get started with Plastipak.

Shift:  Nights 6:45pm – 7:15 am

Standard rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days offIncludes 2 long-weekends every monthFull time schedules are 15 working days a month

Pay:  Earn $19.50 per hour

$18.50 per hour Plus $1.00 more for night shift differential

You Will

Safely operate machines & equipment.Pull products with defects.Pack products for distribution.Keep equipment clean.Learn new skills through ongoing training.

You Have

Mechanical ability.  You like working with your hands, fixing things, etc.Dependability & pride in a job well-done.Ability to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
