Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with a focus on precision and safety in an aerospace environment. The role involves operating machinery to cut and process metal materials, specifically using band saws and forklifts, while maintaining quality and accuracy.

ResponsibilitiesOperate band saws for cutting steel to specified dimensions.Operate sit-down forklifts to move materials efficiently and safely.Read and interpret tape measures for accurate measurement of materials.Conduct visual quality control to ensure high standards of output.Apply metals to customer orders and process materials according to work order specifications.Maintain processing equipment and ensure the work area is clean, safe, and orderly.Accurately complete all required information entry and documentation.Participate in training programs and work with experienced trainers to gain proficiency in equipment operation.Essential SkillsExperience with band saw operations, particularly for steel cutting.Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts.Ability to read and accurately interpret tape measures.Strong attention to detail and quality control practices.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in metal fabrication and aerospace industry is a plus.Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and operating various machinery.Strong attendance and work history with a focus on tenure and reliability.Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $24.25/hr.
