Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in assisting with setups, changeovers, and production runs. Your responsibilities will include stacking finished products on skids and pallets, counting finished goods, and performing heavy lifting of products. You will also be responsible for staging orders, packing products, and following direct orders from leads and lead operators. Flexibility to assist on different lines and fill in where necessary is essential.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with machine setups, changeovers, and production runs.Stack finished products on skids and pallets.Count finished goods and ensure accurate documentation.Perform heavy lifting of products as required.Stage orders efficiently for dispatch.Demonstrate flexibility to assist on different lines and fill in when needed.Pack products according to guidelines.Follow direct orders from leads and lead operators.Assist on all parts of the line and perform various labor tasks as needed.Essential SkillsExperience in production, machine operation, assembly, fabrication, installation, and machine operating.At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Capability to stand for 8+ hours a day.Willingness and ability to learn computer systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with computer systems is advantageous.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position is for the 2nd shift, working from 3:30pm to 2:30am, Monday through Thursday, with opportunities for overtime from 3:30pm to 8:30pm. The role requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palmyra, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
