Start your new career as a Machine Operator with MAU at The Bernard Group in Duncan, SC. As a Machine Operator, you will run bindery equipment to produce high-quality commercial print materials for a fast-growing, 100% employee-owned printing company. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. 

What We Offer: 

Pay of $18.50/hr + $2.50/hr night shift differential 

Rotating 12-hour shifts | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 3-days-on - 4-days-off schedule 

Week 1: Monday – Tuesday – Wednesday 

Week 2: Thursday – Friday – Saturday

What We’re Looking For: 

High school diploma, GED, OR equivalent work experience   

2–5 years of manufacturing experience 

2-year technical or trade school diploma - preferred 

3+ years operating bindery, cutting, folding, or booklet-making machinery - preferred 

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly 

Strong attention to detail and quality control 

Basic computer skills and ability to learn new technology 

Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn 

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

What You’ll Do as a Machine Operator: 

Operate bindery machines such as perfect binders, stitchers, folders, and cutters 

Run high-quality commercial print jobs from start to finish 

Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain production standards 

Perform routine maintenance and quality checks 

Follow safety and company procedures consistently 

Assist with additional tasks or projects as assigned by management
