Essential Duties + Operate various production machines will learning to set-up and troubleshoot each, including: grinders, beltsanders, presses, and basic CNC machines, etc.   + Load and unload high volumes of metal parts efficiently.  Move parts bins on and off pallets. + Visually inspect parts and learn to use basic inspection tools.  + Read and follow verbal and written instructions to identify and produce work.  + Accurately record production into computer. + Participate in continual improvement teams and activities. + Comply with all safety requirements including but not limited to good housekeeping. + Very reliable and punctual work attendance. Qualifications + High School diploma or equivalent plus hands-on mechanical aptitude and skills.  + Experience in manufacturing ideal but any mechanically related experience with basic math skills may qualify. + Must be able to understand spoken and written English well; bilingual Spanish ideal. + We're willing to train. So must be self-motivated and strongly committed to building a manufacturing career through high energy, attentiveness, a positive attitude, and desire to continuously improve. + Must be able to easily adapt to changing situations. + Self-motivated with a desire to learn and continuously improve performance. + Outstanding reliable and punctual attendance - We have a great 2nd shift team and want only those committed to contributing daily.  + Physically capable of lifting, turning, bending walking, standing, reaching.
